Labor has survived a parliamentary showdown in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly after the independent member for Nelson, Gerry Wood, backed the Government in a no-confidence motion.
Wood had the power to topple Labor, send Territorians to the polls three years early or form a government with the opposition.
Wood agreed to support the Government in exchange for 47 wide-ranging measures.
