A truck driver has been caught driving a semi-trailer on a NSW highway with a widescreen TV allegedly bolted onto his dashboard and hooked up to a DVD player.
He was also driving while using a mobile phone, police say.
The 32-year-old driver was charged with a number of offences after police stopped him on the Hume Highway near Goulburn following reports of erratic driving.
They found a 32cm television screen bolted onto the dashboard, connected to a portable DVD player.
The screen obscured a significant section of the windscreen, police said in a statement.
