A group of teenagers have attacked three police officers at a large party in a southeast Queensland town.
Police say two male officers and a female officer were responding to a report of loud music at a party of more than 100 people at Kingaroy just before 1am local time.
Five teens, including three girls, allegedly punched and kicked the officers as they tried to leave, inflicting minor cuts and bruises.
It was not known whether reinforcements were called, but five youths have been charged over the attack, including two 16-year-old girls, a 17-year-old girl and two males, aged 18 and 19.
The two 16-year-olds will be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act while the other three are expected to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 10.
