A Melbourne man ended up behind bars last night after blowing a bubble of gum in court.
The Herald Sun reported apprentice painter Mirza Zukanic was sentenced to 30 days in prison.
The 20-year-old appeared on an assault-related matter but was later charged with contempt of court.
He was accused of "challenging its authority" by deliberately blowing a bubble in the magistrate's direction.
