Canberra police have nabbed a drink driver twice in two hours.
The 21-year-old man initially was stopped by police for a random breath test about 12.20am on Thursday in Canberra's north.
His reading of 0.161 was more than three times the legal limit. He was arrested and charged with drink driving.
At 2.55am, within two hours of being released from police custody, he was again stopped by police driving the same car in the same area.
This time the breathalyser gave a reading of 0.133.
He will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on July 30 on two drink driving charges.
