ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) The prime minister of the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba has secured a second term.
Preliminary results from Friday's election show that Mike Eman's ruling Aruban People's Party won 13 seats in Parliament, compared with seven seats for the People's Electoral Movement.
Eman's party had previously secured 12 seats in the 2009 election. He thanked his supporters Saturday in a Facebook posting.
Aruba has some 109,000 people and is located just north of Venezuela.
