Arrest in Iraq suicide bomb probe

British police have arrested a man in connection with suicide bombings against coalition forces in Iraq, said Greater Manchester Police, whose officers made a dawn raid on an address yesterday.

The arrest was carried out under Britain's 2000 Terrorism Act, and was unconnected with any incident or threat in Britain, said the police.

It appeared an Iraq suicide bomber had travelled from the UK, where he had been living, they said.
