Sydney has suffered another power blackout this morning.
Power was cut to a number of areas in the city's CBD for about half an hour.
It was third time in a month it has happened, forcing buildings onto emergency generators and disabling traffic lights, in another embarrassment for Australia's commercial centre.
A cable failure cut power to about 30,000 homes and businesses in total.
Power was restored about 11.05am (local time), an EnergyAustralia spokeswoman said.
The social networking website Twitter was flooded with messages from frustrated workers stuck in lifts and traffic jams, or unable to work on their computers.
One of the events to be affected by the outage was the catwalk show at Sydney's Fashion Week.
