South African prosecutors might drop graft charges against ruling African National Congress leader Jacob Zuma within days, news reports said last night.
The National Prosecuting Authority would meet today to make a decision.
A decision to drop the charges could boost the ANC's campaign for parliamentary and local authority elections next month.
Zuma, who has been dogged by corruption charges for years, is frontrunner to become South Africa's next President.
