And 'Ghost' is more than happy to merrily tweet the results:
The accounts have experienced a total revamp. One avatar reads 'I'M GAY AND I'M PROUD'. Another says 'I HEART PORN'. Another simply reads 'LOVE NOT WAR'.
Speaking to Newsweek, the hacker, choosing to remain anonymous, said: "I did it for the lives lost in Orlando.
"Daesh (IS) have been spreading and praising the attack, so I thought I would defend those that were lost. The taking of innocent lives will not be tolerated."
He steered clear of anything more hardcore, saying he didn't want to offend or upset Muslims in the process.
"Our actions are directed at Jihadist extremists. Many of our own (group of hackers) are Muslim and we respect all religions that do not take innocent lives."
In a separate interview with The Washington Post, 'Ghost' said he was there to serve a purpose.
"My goal waking up in the morning and see messages from Daesh, telling me they're going to kill me or cut my head off. The madder they get, the happier I get."
Hundreds of accounts are believed to have been compromised by this upstanding citizen.
Through tweeting pornography and other material that goes against the terror group's strict stance on sexuality, the hacker is hoping to chase them off social media networks entirely.
"The government hasn't really been doing enough especially on social media," 'Ghost' said. "You see the beheading images everywhere. Kids get online and shouldn't see these images."
This right there is the hero our city deserves.
