Americans are once again arming themselves following the mass shootings in Paris, Colorado and San Bernardino, the New York Times reports.
It said that people are stocking up on guns and ammunition and requesting refresher courses from firing ranges.
The New York Times reported that gun shops from Texas to Maine have reported increased gun sales as part of a weapons boom that has been building for weeks.
Mike Reber of Arizona Arms in Chandler, Arizona said there had been a "noticeable" increase in gun sales at his store and online, particularly by people who were buying guns for the first time.
