TIRANA, Albania (AP) Albanian police report that conservative center-right opposition lawmaker Sokol Olldashi has died in a car accident.
Olldashi, 40, has been driving late Wednesday under heavy rain when his car slipped some 10 meters (yards) down in a cliff 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of capital Tirana, police said Thursday.
Police are investigating on the cause of the accident.
Olldashi, a four-time lawmaker, former transport and interior minister in the previous governments, has left his spouse and two sons.
