SAN FRANCISCO - A 5.6 magnitude earthquake hit Pakistan today, 135km north of Islamabad, according to preliminary reports from the US Geological Survey.
The quake, which occurred at 1.23am local time on Thursday, is the latest in a series of aftershocks in the four days after a devastating earthquake in the region that is estimated to have killed more than 40,000 people.
