Michael Jackson's acquittal on child sex charges last week sent United States radio disc jockeys scrambling to spin his records, nearly tripling the number of his songs heard on air, monitors said.
A jury's dramatic decision on June 13 to find the superstar not guilty of child abuse gave a massive boost to his flagging career - at least temporarily, said Mediabase 24/7, which monitors radio air play.
Songs by the faded King of Pop were played 3013 times on 1528 US radio stations monitored by Mediabase following his acquittal, the company said.
