Wednesday night's episode of The Chaser's War on Everything, which included footage of its Apec motorcade stunt, attracted a whopping 2.24 million viewers to become ABC TV's most watched comedy programme.
The programme showed footage of The Chaser's spoof motorcade being waved through Apec security checkpoints before stopping metres from the hotel of US President George W. Bush.
Eleven Chaser members were arrested and all were charged with entering a restricted area without justification. "I am a great fan," Scott said. "I think they work incredibly hard and I am delighted for their success, particularly this year."
