6.2 earthquake strikes off Indonesia

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck off Indonesia.

According to the US Geological Survey, the quake struck at 1726 GMT on Wednesday.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 178km east of Ternate in the Moluccas and about 41km deep, the USGS said.
