A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has struck off Vanuatu this morning, however a tsunami warning has not been issued.
The quake struck at 1.34am (local and NZT), and was centred 363km northeast of Port Vila, 2231km north of Auckland, at a depth of 19km, the United States Geological Survey reported.
No damage has been reported at this stage, and no tsunami advisory has been issued.
