A shallow magnitude 5.4 earthquake has struck off the coast of Western Australia this morning, Geoscience Australia reports.
The quake hit at 3.10am local time (8.10am NZT), at a depth of 15km, near the Muiron Islands Nature Reserve, 370 km northeast of Carnarvon and 1144km north of Perth.
There has been no reports of damage from the quake.
