A five-year-old boy is in a critical condition after falling 10 metres from a ferris wheel at a school fete in southern Queensland.
He has serious head injuries and is being airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane from Toowoomba Hospital.
The AGL rescue helicopter crew says he fell 10 metres from a ferris wheel at a Highfields' school fete, north of Toowoomba around 2pm (local time) on Sunday.
