MOSCOW (AP) Three people, including two British tourists, were killed on Sunday in a helicopter crash in northern Russia, officials said.
Russia's Emergency Sutuations Ministry said the private Eurocopter crashed in the Murmansk region of the Kola Peninsula, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) southeast of the city of Murmansk.
It said the helicopter suddenly banked on one side and crashed while attempting to take off.
The state Investigative Committee said that two British tourists and their Russian guide died in the crash. It didn't name the victims.
Russian news reports quoted local officials as saying that the two British nationals were in the area on a fishing trip.
