An Italian scratchcard holder has won an incredible 163 million ($249.8m) prize in one of the biggest ever lottery payouts for a single ticket.
The lucky SuperEnalotto winner from Vibo Valentia in Sicily paid just 3 for the record jackpot.
This was the second-biggest SuperEnalotto total ever won - the record was set in October 2010 when a Milan syndicate of 70 players bagged 177.7m.
Some 200 draws had rolled over before the win, allowing the prize money to grow and grow.
The winning combination was 3, 12, 23, 71, 76, 83, with 56 as the "jolly number" and 35 the "superstar number" according to The Local.
