15-year-old wearing explosive vest detained

Israeli soldiers have detained a 15-year-old Palestinian boy at a West Bank checkpoint who was wearing an explosives vest made up of two pipe bombs, the military said.

The youth was planning to carry out an attack at the Hawwara checkpoint outside Nablus where he was detained, according to the military.

Soldiers blew up the two bombs, witnesses said.
