15 confirmed killed as barge sinks

Authorities raised the death toll of a shipwreck on the Amazon River in Brazil to 15 after rescuers found seven more bodies yesterday.

Divers found the bodies underneath the wreckage of the boat, which sank near the city of Manaus, 2700km northwest of Sao Paulo, after it crashed into two barges. Five people remain missing.
