A speeding bus skidded off a road and plunged into a river on Saturday in northern Bangladesh, killing at least 14 passengers and injuring two others, police said.
The bus was carrying about 50 people and more bodies may be found, but most of the passengers managed to swim ashore. The initial investigation indicated brake failure or driver error, a police officer said.
