Leigh Ann Sabine is believed to have killed husband John and hidden his body in their flat for 18 years until the skeleton was discovered after her death last month.
The Daily Mail reported relatives and neighbours said a retired fireman, known only as Derek, moved in with her soon after Mr Sabine vanished in 1997.

7 A British inquest has heard that customers stepped over a disabled man as he choked to death on a lump of meat so they could reach the counter of a McDonald's restaurant in Cheltenham. Mike Ore collapsed as he sat in his wheelchair. It was three minutes before anybody went to help him, the Daily Telegraph reports. One man who went to his aid said he saw several customers step over Ore to get to the counter.
8 German prosecutors have charged a far-right politician over a tattoo bearing an infamous Nazi slogan and a picture of the Auschwitz concentration camp, AFP reports. Marcel Zech, 27, a member of the National Democratic Party of Germany, could get five years in jail for inciting racial hatred. His tattoo was photographed in November at a public swimming pool near Berlin. The tattoo says "Jedem das Seine" (To each his own), which is the message at the front gate of the Buchenwald concentration camp.
9 The Guardian reports that banned and dangerous weapons can be found for sale on the UK version of Amazon in breach of UK law. The weapons include stun guns, pepper spray pistols and knuckledusters.
10 FBI Director James Comey says San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik didn't express support for Isis on social media, as previously reported. Malik and husband Syed Farook talked about jihad in private messages. The FBI has found no evidence they were part of an organised cell or had contact with overseas terror groups.
11 It's a year since the Taliban attacked an army-run school in Peshawar, Pakistan, killing 151 people, including many students. Pakistan's leader Nawaz Sharif has called for vengeance, but parents told AFP they wanted a judicial inquiry into security failings that led to the attack.
12 The Japanese Supreme Court has upheld a law which says married couples must have the same surname. Campaigners had said the law was discriminatory because most couples use the husband's surname, the BBC reports.
