A massive three-day battle in southern Afghanistan between Nato and Taleban militants has killed more than 100 people, including insurgents, civilians and police, say Afghan officials.
Afghan officials said Taleban fighters sought shelter in civilian homes and that Nato bombers later targeted them. One wounded man said 18 members of his family had been killed.
