Up to 40,000 car enthusiasts and petrol heads alike converged on West Auckland at the weekend to admire an array of old motor vehicles at the the 22nd National Classic Car and Hot Rod Festival. The 3500 lovingly restored cars included Robbie Allen's two heavily customized classics - a 1956 Lincoln Continental with "The Matrix" theme and a Corvette Stingray, a "Motorhead" themed 1000 horse power beast.
