KiwiSaver "Which fund?" - Introduction

Presenter Geoff Bryan introduces the KiwiSaver ‘Which Fund?’ series where fund providers talk about the different types of investment funds they provide and the risk profile attached to each. The series consists of a set of identical questions asked of Conservative, Balanced and Growth Funds where KiwiSaver funds are put to work – and the different risk profile that applies to each. The aim is to help readers decide what type of KiwiSaver fund suits them. The providers represented in this series all have Conservative Balanced and Growth funds. They are (in alphabetical order) AMP Services (NZ) Ltd, ANZ Banking Group, AON Hewitt, Bank of New Zealand, Fisher Funds Management Ltd, Grosvenor Financial Services Group, Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Limited, Mercer (NZ) Limited, New Zealand Stock Exchange, Westpac New Zealand Limited. These are not the only KiwiSaver providers available but are the ones who have chosen to participate in this series for readers. The set of identical questions asked of each of the various fund providers covers matters like what type of investments are made, the risk and return assessment, what type of investor is best suited to a particular fund, management fees, communication and whether there is anything particularly good or different about the fund in question.
