World of sheep

Sheep World is a working farm set on 11ha of rolling hill country on SH1, 4km north of Warkworth.

Visitors can work the drafting gate, which sorts sheep into different pens, feed the farm animals with pellets ($1), or try shearing.

Entry is free, but the sheep and dog shows cost $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Shows are held daily at 11am, and on weekends and public holidays an extra show is held at 1pm.

Sheep World has a cafe, a wool products store and a craft co-operative.
