One of the last jobs we do when putting together each week's Travel magazine is to write the "What we learned" piece, which appears on the page opposite this editorial each week.
It's intended as a fun way of telling you, the reader, about the contents of the magazine. It also celebrates the fact our magazine — and indeed travel in general — will introduce you to some amazing facts.

Next time you see it, imagine a cruise ship, standing upright on its propellor, alongside the building. Stephanie Holmes filed the first report from a Kiwi journalist on the ship's maiden voyage last week.
