KEY POINTS:
Congratulations to Roger Foy, the winner of Travel's competition for a trip for two to Molesworth Station. Mr Foy, of Mairangi Bay, will travel courtesy of Air New Zealand and the Molesworth Tour Company.
Mr Foy has a management role with Transfield, the national grid company, whose lines run through the spectacular countryside he will traverse.
He described his win as a "lucky coincidence" and says he was drawn to enter because of his interest, knowing as he did that the main power pylons go through Molesworth Station.
"I read in the paper and thought why not put my hat in?"
Mr Foy said he had a passion for the New Zealand back country and would take his wife Dael on the trip.
