Relish a six-course meal and get a peek at some of Melbourne's finest gardens while drifting along the Yarra River aboard the Spirit of Melbourne Cruising Restaurant.
Prepared on board by chef Barry Cheung, the culinary side of the journey includes delicacies such as chilli and garlic-flavoured crab balls, Tasmanian salmon or a choice of red and white meat dishes, and indulgent desserts, cheeses and chocolates. Australian wines, beers and a selection of spirits and liqueurs are also a part of the experience.
Wine and dine for $A120 a person ($NZ146). Bookings are essential. The Spirit of Melbourne departs at 8 pm and returns at 11 pm from its berth at Southgate.
