The summer hot spot is known for its beaches, but in case of rain, there are great shops, cafes and markets to explore too. Here's our go-to guide.
Dine ... at Mr Miyagi (above). The Japanese eatery from the crew behind George Cafe opened last January and is renowned for its great sushi, free-range katsudon and seasonal tempura treats, such as strawberries with homemade ginger sugar. They grow some of their veges in planter boxes and boast a sunny courtyard, perfect for a long lunch.
Shop ... at local design boutiques, including BlakChaos, a collaboration between Teresa Hodges' label Blak and shoe brand Chaos & Harmony, and Thanks Store - the headquarters of streetwear brand Lower, which also carries the likes of Huffer, Lonely Hearts and Stolen Girlfriends Club.
Treat ... yourself at Spongedrop Cakery, a new venture from baker Danielle Cubis, who previously sold her cakes at The Little Big Markets. Opened in December in the former home of the Mount information centre, you'll find beautiful cupcakes, macarons and coffee in the lovely park-side spot.
