Get ready for a powerhouse musical that will leave you breathless. What Happened to Mary-Anne? is a rock-fuelled journey through the life of a trans woman who refuses to be silenced. Mary-Anne is a night nurse by day and an electrifying rock singer by night, caught between expectation and her true passion. Featuring legendary hits from icons like Stevie Nicks and Kiss, this show is an anthem of rebellion, self-discovery, and the courage to live authentically. Directed by acclaimed queer playwright Jamie Harris, this high-energy production is set to be a festival highlight, blending raw emotion with an unforgettable soundtrack. aucklandpride.org.nz/shows/what-happened-to-mary-anne
