Do you travel light or heavy?
Light. As little as I can get away with.

Cattle or first class?
Who's paying? Most airlines try and put me in cargo. Air NZ let me in with the other passengers which is very nice of them.

What type of suitcase do you carry?
A heavy one. Samsonite. Must get a lighter one.

Are you a planner or last-minute packer?
Last-minute but I've done it enough now to have it all sorted in 20 minutes or so.

What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
White T-shirts from Muji shop. I always stock up on them.

Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Dubai is a pretty mad airport, but Queenstown is hard to beat.

Best packing tip?
Don't forget your suitcase lock combination.

Most memorable trip
The last proper holiday I had which was in the mountains of Tuscany last September. Very low key and away from tourists. Go there...

What do you do while on the plane?
Sleep and sleep some more.
