Do you travel light or heavy?
I am definitely a heavy packer. I tend to think of outfits as I go and keep adding them into my bag.
Cattle or first class?
I would love to say first, but am usually down the back in cattle. One day.
I can't travel without...
Reading material. I am not a movie watcher on planes, so without good books and magazines the flight seems to take forever.
What type of suitcase do you carry?
It's a red Samsonite. Very practical and I never miss it on the carousel. It was an 18th birthday present from my parents. At the time it was the most boring present out, but I have learnt to appreciate it as it is still with me 10 years later.
What's always in your hand luggage?
If I am off on a buying trip, usually lookbooks, linesheets, a calculator and budgets. Alongside work stuff I always have hand cream, Lucas pawpaw ointment, and my iPhone. However, if I am travelling with my son it is a whole different story... there are bottles, nappies and dummies, to name a few. It is a juggling act.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
I do tend to bring back a lot more than I probably should, so it's hard to name one single item. Coming home from my Bali trips I always have all sorts; lanterns, frames and I even brought back dining chairs one year.
Best packing tip?
Transport yourself to your destination for a moment.
What do you do while on the plane?
I do tend to panic slightly on take-off and landing. I have become more nervous with age.
