Do you travel light or heavy?
Light. I always leave room for shopping at the other end.
Cattle or first class?
First class anywhere beyond Australia. Although Air New Zealand business class is as good as first class.
I can't travel without...
Over the years, whenever I travel for business my PA has provided me with a complete folder, including an extremely detailed itinerary, notes and general helpful information. It makes travelling for business so much easier. I can't do without it now.
What type of suitcase do you carry?
A heavy-duty case. Eliminates damage.
What's always in your hand luggage?
iPod.
Are you a planner or last-minute packer?
Definitely last-minute. Extreme last-minute. I'm a one-hour-before-the-flight packer.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
I love watches, and I now have a bit of a collection.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Hong Kong. It's so modern and efficient. You simply step outside into the vast bullet trains.
Best packing tip?
Gladwrap anything that will leak or end up among your clothes.
Most memorable trip?
Flying into New York during an electrical storm. People were screaming and scared. It was quite surreal.
