Do you travel light or heavy?
I try to stay on the light side to leave room for shopping and duty free.
Cattle or first class?
For work, Air New Zealand Premium Economy is always a treat.
I can't travel without...
Sleeping pills. When travelling for work it's important to minimise jetlag after long-haul flights. 10-12hrs on a plane is no problem after one of these.
What type of suitcase do you carry?
A Swiss army roller suitcase, it was a parting gift from my sister before I left for my Europe OE.
What's always in your hand luggage?
Slippers (small comforts) and a change of clothes just in case my checked luggage doesn't arrive in the same place I do.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
My favourite pair of shoes that I bought at a boutique store in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Auckland.. The exciting part is knowing I'll be sleeping in my own bed that night.
Best packing tip?
Iron and neatly fold all shirts and hang as soon as you get to your hotel room.
Most memorable trip?
Ending up in hospital in the South of France with a collapsed lung for my 21st birthday. A €7500 (NZ$13,292) medical bill later, I was glad my dad talked me into travel insurance.
What do you do while on the plane?
In-flight meal, sleeping pill, deep sleep, arrive at destination with no recollection of the flight and a grumpy neighbour because of my snoring.
