Do you travel light or heavy?
I go away with an awfully heaving suitcase, curse myself and then the next time travel light. By the time it comes to travel again I have generally forgotten how painful a heavy suitcase is..
Cattle or first class?
To London last year it was premium, and so much nicer than cattle. Thank you Air New Zealand, you are the nicest carrier to fly.
I can't travel without....
One of my pretty pleated dresses. They were made to be travelled with.
What's always in your hand luggage?
Lucas pawpaw, M.A.C fix spray, a good book, an eye mask, ear plugs and sleeping pills. God bless little blueys.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Landing at JFK was pretty cool the first time I did it. I love returning to Auckland airport; I think it's the nicest in the world.
Best packing tip?
ghd hair straighteners double as a hand-held iron.
Most memorable trip?
With one of my besties, driving around Southern Europe for six weeks. It was so pretty, with so many laughs and so many stories.
What do you do while on the plane?
Enjoy doing nothing! I went to London for a friend's wedding last year, a couple of weeks before NZ Fashion Week. I loved the flight over and back: it was so nice to just sit and do nothing. Bliss.
