Waves or Womad?

If the surf is pumping this weekend, surfers at the Womad Festival in New Plymouth will be tossing up between surf and sounds. One of the Womad campsites is at the city's top surf beach at Fitzroy, and there'll be a free shuttle bus to and from the venue at Brooklands Park. The other campsite is at the racecourse, next to the venue. Womad features more than 300 performers from around the globe. Weekend passes cost $145 ($175 with camping) and day and evening passes are available. Camping must be booked when purchasing your ticket at Ticketek.
