Gaze at the rugged Coromandel Coastal Walkway with its views across the sea to Great Barrier Island, then enjoy refreshments at Stony Bay before cruising back to Coromandel township.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for the 10km walk from fhFletcher Bay to Stony Bay - but if your travel companion hasn't the inclination, he or she can meet you at the walk's end with the tour's transport and driver.
The day tour takes around eight hours, starting in Coromandel, travelling along the Pohutukawa Coast to Fletcher Bay, stopping at Colville Store and the "Colville Caff".
It costs $65 a person and $35 for children. Weather permitting, tours depart daily at 9am, with accommodation pick-ups available.
