Methven's fourth New Zealand Walking Festival steps out this Saturday and continues until Monday. Fourteen different walks cater to all age and fitness levels.
Methven is just over an hour's drive from Christchurch.
The walks include the challenging Rangitata walk and raft, the adventurous High Country Horse Adventures walk and the social wine and cheese trail.
Intending walkers should register by Friday.
