Wales welcomes lost citizens

This year is the time to come home is the message from the Wales Tourist Board.

The board decided that 2000 was the perfect year to encourage expatriates or anyone with emotional links with Wales to rediscover the land of their fathers.

Brochures have been published for the Homecoming, or Hiraeth 2000, campaign as well as a booklet called Tracing Your Ancestors, intended to help overseas visitors rediscover their Welsh lineage.
