Waitangi Day Mardi Gras in Takaka

Experience community celebration at the free Mardi Gras in Takaka on Waitangi Day.

Entertainment includes music, street theatre, buskers, local bands and a fire performance, starting late afternoon and continuing until 1am.

The main street will close for the street parade at 5pm, and plenty of food will be available. It is an alcohol-free event.
