Visit the Clydesdales

For a nostalgic excursion, visit the Pirongia Clydesdale horses, once the famous DB Clydesdales.

In the harness room and stables you can watch the horses being handled and harnessed, then take a wagon or stagecoach ride around Pirongia village, near Hamilton.

The Carriage House displays show wagons and memorabilia from the era of horse-drawn vehicles.

Visits should be arranged in advance.
