Air New Zealand has released a video showing their newest plane getting the distinctive black paintjob inside of the paint hangar.
The airline traditionally paints the first aircraft of each type in its fleet in distinctive black with a white fern, koru and trim.
The new aircraft was built in Hamburg and will be the first of seven A321neos and six A320neos delivered to Air New Zealand. Delivery had been scheduled for mid-2017, but was delayed due to engine issues and changes to the seating plans.
The black plane will enter service in mid-November.
