Thousands of New Zealanders and international visitors have conquered Auckland's newest attraction, the Skytower's Vertigo climb, since it opened in April.
The adventure tourism challenge guides up to six people at a time up the inside of the tower to the mast and open air of the crow's nest where they can soak up the views for around 20 minutes before the return journey to solid ground.
The price for an adult is $95; children under 14, $55. A family pass, which covers up to four children and two adults, is $275, and second-time climbers get a special rate.
