Visitors rub shoulders with locals as they browse through stalls with a wide variety of foods, handicraft and other wares at Darwin's Mindil Beach Sunset Markets, the largest in the Northern Territory.
The city's multiculturalism is demonstrated by the tidbits available, ranging from a crocodile kebab to a curry or a mango smoothie, and with flavours from Laos, Greece, Switzerland, China, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines and Japan.
The markets are held on Thursday evenings from April to October and on Sunday afternoons from May to September.
