Trek the old train tracks in Otago

The Otago Central Rail Trail follows the former Otago Central Branch railway line from Middlemarch to Clyde.

The 150km section has been maintained and upgraded so walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders can experience the remote scenery.

The trail can be cycled in between three and five days and overnight accommodation and other services are available in towns along the route.
