Trek and shop

For less than $4000 you can travel to Nepal, spend half of your 20-day holiday trekking in its mountains and enjoy a day's shopping in Bangkok on the way home.

Whangarei-based travel agency, Roseman & Warren United Travel, have arranged the tour for departure in late September.

Included in the $3990 price are Thai Airways flights, accommodation in the Hilton, either a nine-day easy-to-medium trek, with about four hours of walking daily and with food and lodge accommodation included, airport transfers, travel insurance and departure tax.

There is a maximum of 10 placings on the tour, which returns to New Zealand on October 18.
